Bob & I took a 25th Ann. trip to England for our 25th in June of 2000. One of the things we did was a Devon/Cornwell tour with a stop in Barnstable overnight. I knew that the Chuggs came from there, but that was all I knew.

I wish I had some of this info then. The night watchman at the hotel we stayed at had a child that married a Chugg, and was sure that it was the same family. He sent us a booklet in the mail with some of Barnstable's history.

I did reply, but the address was almost unreadable and I may have got it wrong, never heard back from him.
