She married Douglas Brannan. They live in South Mountain, Ontario, Canada.
They have two sons:
David Brannan, born September 14,1970, in Ottawa, Ontario.
Derek Brannan, born September 3,1972 in Ottawa, Ontario.
David is married to Renee Gaulin (from Kapuskasing, Ontario) & they have two sons:
Evan Brannan, born May 22, 2004, in Ottawa, Ontario
Owen Brannan, born October 18, 2005, in Ottawa, Ontario
Sandra grew up in Chelsea, Quebec, attending elementary school in Old Chelsea, Quebec. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in Ottawa, Ontario. She then graduated from the Ottawa Civic Hospital, School of Nursing, as a Registered Nurse. Sandra worked for thirty years in the hospital sector as staff nurse and nurse manager followed by five years in the community sector as a Case Manager.
